At Ishraq Institute we are committed to empowering Indian Shia hawza and non-hawza youth with the intellectual, social and spiritual tools needed to actively address key challenges in the Shia and broader Indian society. Our vision is rooted in the belief that a strong, informed and engaged community can bring transformative change.

At Ishraq we are dedicated to nurturing highly skilled and capable hawza students who can effectively contribute to realising our vision. To achieve this, we focus on research, intellectual discourse, and student engagement through structured projects and interactive group activities. Our initiatives are designed to equip students with essential skills, fostering their growth in both academic and practical spheres while aligning with our broader mission.

Our inspiration comes from the verse of the Qur'an:
كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ تَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
